With flute music, beading demonstrations, and a cider and cranberry cookie reception, The Mill Casino • Hotel will hold its Grand Opening celebration for Ko-Kwel Gifts
from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 26.
The grand opening of the gift shop, located inside the new hotel lobby, is being held in conjunction with the Heart
of American Indian Women's Network conference. The event will feature tribal artists speaking about their work, live beading demonstrations and live flute
music, in addition to complimentary refreshments and door prizes.
The Mill Casino • Hotel is proud to offer many various types of artwork from Coquille Tribal artists. Some of the art for sale in Ko-Kwel gifts includes jewelry,
beadwork, wine, bath products blown glass, leather baskets and other handcrafts.
The new gift shop is part of The Mill Casino • Hotel and RV Park's $40 million dollar casino
and hotel expansion project. Earlier this year, The Mill re-opened it's newly designed Timber's Café, serving delicious food 24 hours a day. In April The Mill
opened an entertainment bar, Warehouse 101, featuring entertainment seven nights a week and a great selection of beers on tap.
