ADDITIONAL WAGERS
Double Down: After you have received your first two cards, you may increase your wager up to its original amount and receive one card.

Split: If your first two cards have the same point value, you may split them to form separate hands by matching your original wager. Each hand will be played in turn and you may split pairs up to four hands. Split Aces will receive only one card each. You may double down after splits; an ace/ten combination on split hands is not "Blackjack."

Insurance: If the dealer's "up card" is an Ace, you may place a wager up to 1/2 your original bet on whether or not the dealer has "Blackjack." The insurance bet is entirely separate from your original bet. If the dealer has "Blackjack," you will be paid double on your insurance bet. If the house does not have "Blackjack," you will lose your insurance bet.
